What’s your cheap-est routine?

Looking for something that qualifies as CGM. Under $10 ideally. Any luck with dollar stores?

First off, Cantu all the all way. You can get their products at any target or Walmart as far as I know. Shampoo only once a week or only if your hair is really dirty other wise, cowash 3 three times a week. Throughout washing make sure your hair is wet throughout with a lot of moisture. It should feel ‘slimey’ when you apply conditioner. Also it with your head upside down and rake it through for volume. When rinsing the conditioner only use the coldest water possible. Another thing is don’t use thick creams or they’ll weigh down your hair. You’re gonna want to stick with light hair sprays or lotions.

And be sure to use a moisturizering hair mask on your hair at least once or twice a week. Daily if you have especially dry hair. I like Shea moisture treatment masque personally.

Check out manes by Mell on YouTube for more tips btw. She’s a life saver and extremely helpful.

I recommend Cantu, it's cheap and works but I know in the UK Cantu shampoo + conditioner + curl cream still will be around £20 unless I buy when it's 3 for 2. CGM method is expensive so I doubt you will find anything at the dollar store.
