I finally caved to pressure and I'm getting the Covid vaccine

My appointment is in the next hour and I'm really nervous

Edit: did it. Feeling fine except a bit dizzy

Can relate. The past year in Australia Victoria has just felt like a constant lockdown. I can't handle it anymore. I've got my first dose of Pfizer I was fine just very tired the next day and sore arm. Hopefully not too horrid for you

At least with Pfizer people seem to get worse side effects after the second dose. I got them too, but it wasn't that bad. What I can recommend is prepare yourself for the worst the day before or right after the vaccine (especially if you live alone): clean up your space, cook a dinner for the next day or two or get a good quality ready meal, buy a variety of snacks or fruit and keep them within reach (in case you feel too sick to get up), as well as tea, water etc.

I'm fully vaccinated and I only experienced being tired and a sore arm. my father died in covid and he would have survived with the vaccine. please do get vaccinated.

omg I'm so sorry for your loss :(

Don't be. I am already fully vaccinated and only had a really bad time after the 2nd shot (Moderna) though everyone reacts differently.

I had the Pfizer and so far the only side effect I have is light-headedness

I caved under pressure and got the second dose too. I know at this point I am an adult and whatever happens to me will happen. If I die I die from either the vaccine or covid there was no winning.
