I remember stumbling upon a reddit thread a long time ago, way before I even knew anything about this, and someone was recounting about how their friend thought it was worth dating an unattractive girl because his gf would go out of her way to bring him homemade food while he was sick and all in would take care of him, and how pretty girls wouldn't do that, and for that alone he enjoyed dating her over someone pretty. There were others recounting hearing something similar but this stuck out to me and I remember it even years later. The way it was said was so demeaning to her, I can't get it exactly right cuz I don't remember but the friend wasn't just appreciating his thoughtful gf, it was just so disgusting and mysoginistic, the way he talked about taking advantage of her kindness just because she was either a desperate pickme or a genuinely thoughtful person, it doesn't matter. Men like this make up a majority of the male population, sadly. And now I'm thinking that she might have not even been actually unnatractive, just kind of average so 'ugly' to men. There was also similar talk about how it's worth to date uglier girls because they do stuff that pretty girls won't ☠️
